About This Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Trader to execute and manage trades across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate has strong market knowledge, excellent execution skills, and a disciplined approach to risk management.
Responsibilities
- ✓Execute equity, fixed income, and other securities trades across global markets
- ✓Manage trade execution, including order routing, timing, and broker relationships
- ✓Monitor market conditions and provide real-time insights to the investment team
- ✓Optimize execution quality and minimize transaction costs
- ✓Maintain compliance with trading policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in institutional trading or proprietary trading
- ✓Deep understanding of global equity and fixed-income markets
- ✓Experience with multiple broker platforms and electronic trading systems
- ✓Strong risk management and decision-making skills
- ✓Canadian Securities Course (CSC) completed
